Kenyan athlete, Edwin Koech, has won the men’s category of the 2025 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, which was held on Saturday. Koech won the $50,000 first-place prize for the men’s category, which is his second after clinching victory in the 2023 edition. The Kenyan ran for a record 2 hours and 14 minutes. Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has warned the public against fraudulent recruitment advertisements, stating that no recruitment exercise was currently ongoing. A statement by the NIS Spokesman, Akinsola Akinlabi on Friday in Abuja said that all recruitment exercises were conducted in a transparent, free, and merit-based manner.
