The Cross River State Police Command has dismissed an officer, Inspector Effiong Bassey, who killed one person and injured two others in Calabar, the state capital. The Federal Government will begin a nationwide flood awareness campaign in May 2025 to educate and sensitise Nigerians on the risks and safety measures related to flooding. TCN restores power to Bayelsa, Rivers after vandalised line repair
