The singer was questioned about the recent controversy she was involved in with the producer during her guest appearance on the most recent episode of Angela Yee’s Way Up podcast.
Simi disclosed that although her husband Adekunle Gold and her supporters were standing up for her, The producer’s reaction bewildered and did not seem to affect her.
“I have no idea why these individuals are always bringing up me. You can’t really infer anything from what they’re saying, even when you look at it, which leaves me perplexed. “I don’t feel anything about this and it doesn’t impact me,” I said to my friend during our conversation. I have nothing to conceal. To me, the entire situation is hilarious,” she said.
The performer also discussed those who stood up for her because she was a married woman, emphasizing that a woman should be valued just for herself and not because she is a mother or a married lady.

I demand respect from you because I merit it. I have also witnessed others standing up for me and saying things like, “Don’t do that—she has a child.” I tell them, ‘Don’t do it to me at all.”
Remember that on May 6, Samklef said she was putting him up for online drag racing and was being ungrateful. Adekunle Gold forbade him from talking about his wife at the time, and her supporters supported her as well.
When Simi addressed the issue with the host, she said she was at a loss for words.
