The Nile Media Entertainment team has teamed up with Omoni Oboli’s highly anticipated The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3 to introduce an inventive voucher system dubbed “Atlas by Reach.”

The Nile entertainment team made the announcement on their official Instagram page and released a statement.

“We introduced a cutting-edge and cutting-edge voucher program for filmmakers and producers in Nigeria and abroad. With the release of @omonioboli’s eagerly awaited “THE UPRISING:Wives on Strike 3,” the voucher system known as “Atlas by Reach” was introduced, making it simple to purchase tickets in advance of the performance.

The post stated that anyone can purchase movie tickets in advance, including staff members, celebrities, influencers, and lovers. They can also give the tickets to others. The chief executive officer of the Nile Media Entertainment Group, Moses Babatope, believes that the voucher system has the ability to boost the nation’s economy and increase sales.

This invention could lead to a rise in admissions, sales, and overall economic growth in the country. We are at the forefront of a movement to redefine, push limits, set trends, and revolutionize media entertainment. Launching a ground-breaking invention for the Nollywood sector is undoubtedly a major victory for us. It is now possible to purchase tickets for upcoming movies in advance of their release, doing away with the need to wait until showtime,” he said

The director, Omoni Oboli, released a trailer for Wives on Strike: Third installment on July 10, 2024. The first movie in the Wives on Strike series came out in 2016, and in 2018 there was a sequel called Wives on Strike: The Revolution.

In an attempt to inspire them to support a young girl whose father forced her into marriage with an older guy, the parody follows a group of women who refuse to have sex with their spouses. This revolution turns into a demonstration against gender-based violence in the neighborhood. Despite being humorous, it provokes thoughtful discussion about significant problems that women face.

Wives on Strike, which opens in theaters on October 18, 2024, features a cast that includes May Yul-Edochie, Uche Jombo, Omoni Oboli, Ufuoma McDermott, Hilda Dokubo, and Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (KieKie).
