This month, viewers can anticipate a variety of entertaining stories that address current concerns and offer amusement, including thrilling narratives, romantic comedies, and gripping dramas.
This is a thorough introduction to some of the best Nollywood films coming out in October.

It is written, authored, and executive produced by Arese Ugwu. Under the direction of Wande Thomas and Bunmi Ajakaiye, the series stars Osas Ighodaro, Toni Tones, Ini Dima-Okojie, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Timini Egbuson, Eso Dike, Seun Ajayi, Tania Omotayo, Enyinna Nwigwe, Eku Edewor, Tobi Bakre, Bolanle Olukanni, Jesse Suntele, and Eby Eno.

Inside Life
It is not strange, but unusual, to go from music directing to film. Netflix’s new TV series, directed by Nigerian filmmaker and music video director Clarence Abiodun Peters, has an official trailer that premiered on October 11. The supernatural drama series depicts the lives of Nigerians who live in a nation that is full of surprises and are afraid of the policies of the government and how its citizens deal with them.
Jide Kosoko, Gabriel Afolayan, Jiyan Babaoja, Zack Orji, Meg Otanwa, and Scarlett Gomez are the series’ main cast members.
Three working Days
If you enjoyed Breath of Life’s visual impact, you’ll enjoy 3 Working Days even more. Earlier in the year, Jerry Ossai revealed the cast of his upcoming movie, 3 Working Days, which will have its release on October 18, 2024. Uzor Arukwe, Nancy Isime, and Deyemi Okanlawon are among the cast members.
The Rebellion: Wives on Strike Three
The third entry in the Wives on Strike series, which debuted in 2016 and has a follow-up in 2018, is called The Uprising. The parody centers on a group of women who refuse to acknowledge their husbands’ extramarital affairs in an effort to persuade them to support a young girl whose father coerced her into an adulterous marriage. This revolution turns into a demonstration against gender-based violence in the neighborhood. Despite being funny, it provokes thoughtful discussion about significant problems that women face. A star-studded cast of Omoni Oboli, Hilda Dokubo, Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha, Ufuoma Mc Dermott, Bukunmi “Kiekie” Adeaga-Ilori, Okey Bakassi, May Yul Edochie, Julius Agwu, Elvin Ibru, Segun Arinze, and Sani Musa Danja features in the film, which was produced by Tomi Adeoye and Oboli Oboli.

A three-part romantic comedy film called My Fairytale Wedding depicts the distinct realities of contemporary African women. The story centers on a 29-year-old lady who, in her desperation to find love, resorts to the unusual abilities of “kayanmata,” a love potion sold by a wealthy guy.
Playing the key roles, Ini Edo and Ramsey Nuoah personify the difficulties of contemporary love, the intricacies of relationships, and the intricacies of Nigerian wedding customs. My Fairytale Wedding presents “a refreshing reimagining of classic fairy tales, infused with African heart and soul and set against the vibrant backdrop of Lagos, Nigeria” and “delivers love, laughter and a sprinkle of magic,” according to the official logline.
