Following a comprehensive journey to reduce her fibroids, which regrettably reappeared, Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has finally declared that the fibroids have decreased.

The actress, who noted that the fibroids had shrunk in size since her last check, shared the good news on her TikTok account with excitement on October 6, 2024.

After learning that the fibroids were returning, she stated, “I changed some aspects of my lifestyle.” We’re doing something right; something is working since I recently went to the hospital for an ultrasound scan and the fibroids are diminishing.

Remember how Okojie first disclosed her fibroids had returned in July 2024, three years after they had first appeared?

Remember that three years after undergoing continuous, invasive surgery to remove her fibroids, Okojie first disclosed that they had returned in July of 2024. She spoke to her fans and followers in the video she shared at the time, giving them an update on the difficulties she had encountered and her future intentions.

“I want to share something important with you today,” she said in her explanation. If you’ve been following me, you’re undoubtedly aware that I underwent an evasive surgery called a myomectomy to remove fibroids before the end of 2020. My doctor successfully removed every single fibroid throughout the procedure, and I recovered nicely. Sadly, the fibroids have returned three years after the surgery.”

Following that, the actress never planned to have surgery again, but instead kept her fans and following informed on her natural method to decreasing the fibroids. She went on to say that she had given up meat, bread, and other items in an effort to reduce the size of her fibroids.

“Dairy includes cheese, milk, processed foods in general, cookies, cakes, and condiments made with refined sugar. carbonated beverages and caffeine as well. Sodium and anything heavy in salt are honorable mentions. Because these foods are strong in estrogen and can encourage the fibroids to grow, I am avoiding them,” Okojie explained.
