Controversial Nigerian social media critic, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has asserted that the presidency has contacted him regarding his newly established Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

VeryDarkMan made this assertion in a recent video clip shared via his social media page.

In a Sunday evening post, VeryDarkMan, who had earlier revealed that he had amassed over ₦33 million in donations within a mere 24 hours, with the total continuing to rise, said he received a call from the presidency regarding his NGO, where he was commended for his societal contributions.

In a tone laced with sarcasm, the social media personality remarked that given the substantial funds he had raised, he anticipated that the government would seek his financial assistance.

“Something crazy just happened now. I just received a call from the Presidency about my NGO. Bruh, that’s crazy mehn! They said VeryDarkMan, we like what you are doing. We see that people are sending you money because of the public schools and how I want to help children get a strong foundation. I imagine that the presidency would wanna borrow money from me since they have been borrowing money everywhere. It has been reported that in just 16 months, Tinubu’s administration has taken on loans amounting to $6.45 billion from the World Bank,” VeryDarkMan said in the video clip.

He also announced his plans to enhance transparency in Nigerian NGOs as part of his new project, stating, “I go cast NGO for this country, make una dey watch.”
