Nov. marks the premiere of the Nigeria-Igbo epic, “Ekpebiwo M” 

Ekpebiwo M, (I Have Decided), an Igbo epic film from Nigeria, will be released on November 8, 2024, in theaters.

Accompanying Ini Edo and a stellar ensemble, Nigerian actor @Chidimokeme is reprising his spectacular return run as a village chief willing to sacrifice all for his religion. Director: Matthew Ajallys; Distributed by Tribe Nation Theatrical; Executive Produced by Jane John-Nwankwo, Ph.D. This epic Nollywood drama, which opens in theaters countrywide on November 8, is a story of redemption, sacrifice, and faith.

The compelling tale of a village chief, played by Nollywood star Chidi Mokeme, who rejects tradition in favor of Christianity and embarks on a new life as an evangelist is told in the pre-colonial Eastern Nigerian setting of Ekpebiwo M. The community fiercely opposes his decision, putting his newly discovered faith to the test. His wife, portrayed by Ini Edo, finds it difficult to embrace his new convictions because she worries about the unfavorable outcomes.

The themes of religion, faith, tenacity, cultural values, and resilience are highlighted in the movie. Alex Osifo, Jide Kosoko, Ini Edo, Chidi Mokeme, Mary Uche, Chucks Chyk, Patrick Ifeanyi Onyeochatawrycki, and Justice Slik are among the other cast members.
