Despite my desire to be married and have three children, I shall wait on God, says Martha Ankomah

In an interview with Emelia Brobbey on Okukuseku, the actress said she hoped a good man would enter her life. She emphasized that she prayed because she believed that God would hear her and fulfill her deepest aspirations.

“Who is not interested in marriage? Let’s talk about reality. If I had three children, I could take them to school and drop them off at Sunday school. I have faith that God will hear my prayers, but it’s a lovely thing.

“I know that God will do this for me as well since He has done many things for me that I have prayed about

“It’s only a question of time,” she stated.

The idea that acting is a challenging vocation for people looking to settle down was also addressed by Martha Ankomah, who noted that many Ghanaian actors encounter difficulties in this regard.

“I don’t think that becoming an actor will prevent you from finding a partner. They see things differently than those of us in the entertainment sector, you know. It is dependent upon your personal demeanor. Because many artists have married and are content with their lives,” she continued.

According to reports, actress Martha Ankomah has sued actor LilWin for his recent remarks about her on social media.

LilWin had been harshly critical of his coworkers, specifically pointing the finger at Martha Ankomah, for what he saw as derogatory remarks toward Kumawood films. In particular, he criticized Ankomah for her comments in 2017 and 2023 regarding the deteriorating caliber of current Kumawood films.
