The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, engaged in a meeting with President Bola Tinubu on Friday (today) to review the accomplishments of the Renewed Hope Agenda within the aviation sector.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Friday, Onyema expressed his appreciation for the President’s initiatives aimed at stabilizing business operations throughout Nigeria, with a particular focus on the aviation industry.
During their meeting at the State House in Abuja on Thursday, Onyema remarked on the significant advancements made by the President in enhancing the ease of conducting business in the aviation sector, as well as the introduction of reforms facilitated by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
The CEO of Air Peace conveyed his optimism that the administration of Tinubu would foster stability within the aviation industry.
Onyema recognized that, despite the current economic challenges, the President’s reforms are expected to yield long-term benefits for the nation.
He also encouraged Nigerians to support the government and to foster local investments.
“The President is a businessman, and he is trying to stabilise businesses with his policies, but people don’t realise this. Some of us in business understand what the President is trying to do, and we appreciate him, especially in the aviation industry.
“What he is doing is the real restructuring of the country. Many Nigerians think restructuring means dividing the country along regional lines, but what Tinubu is doing is genuine restructuring by changing how we operate as a nation to achieve better results in the long term,” Onyema added.
