Bimbo Manuel, a seasoned Nollywood actor, has expressed his opinion that coworkers who drive Range Rovers and live in mansions are leading false lives.
During his appearance as a guest on TVC’s Your View, Manuel discussed his job as a Nollywood actor and disclosed that he would rather lead a modest life than an ostentatious one. He emphasized that because he can go out and perform errands, leading a modest lifestyle feels like wealth to him.
“I like a modest and practical life,” he stated. I feel really wealthy, and that’s sufficient for me if I wanted to visit the fish market as I always do.”
concerning actors’ fees and the range of compensation they receive, the veteran clarified that rates are not as set as one may believe.
“When it comes to the fees for actors, the experience you have counts,” he said. “It indicates to the potential employer that there isn’t a set rate; rather, it varies. To cut costs, a friend could phone and ask you to assist with the job,” he continued.
“I believe that the claims that folks in Ikoyi live in mansions and ride range rovers are completely untrue.
No Nigerian actor would claim that he or she could purchase a Range Rover only with performing money, the actor said.
