After being arrested for sex trafficking, Sean "Diddy" Combs is placed under suicide watch

After having his bail denied twice in a week, he is currently awaiting his court date for the following week.
Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, an American, has been placed on suicide watch pending his trial following his recent arrest on various charges. September 19, 2024: People Magazine reported, citing sources, that Diddy is being monitored at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail twice because of the public profile of his case.

American rapper Sean Combs, often known as Diddy, was charged with sex trafficking, kidnapping, and racketeering after being taken into custody by law enforcement on Monday, September 16, 2024. When the rapper appeared in court, the prosecution charged him with being the head of a criminal operation that began at least in 2008 and used narcotics and physical force to coerce women into “fulfilling his sexual desires.”
In addition to his mother’s Miami to cover the remaining $2 million, Diddy provided his $48 million Miami mansion on Star Island as collateral, as said in the records his legal team had submitted an offer of $50 million for Diddy’s bond to the federal court. He was seen as a flight risk, thus the court rejected his request for bond.

The judge rejected the stipulation that Diddy’s team had requested—that he be placed under house arrest with “no female visitors.” It is important to remember that the rapper and record producer could receive sentences ranging from 15 years to life in prison if they are found guilty on all three counts. Following raids on two of Combs’ houses in Miami and Los Angeles in March 2024 as part of ongoing investigations, Combs was arrested in Manhattan. In the hip-hop mogul’s residences, the feds found three AR-15s and 1,000 bottles of lubricant during the raids.

He’s waiting to go back to court the following week.
