After criticizing Davido for an unpublished interview, YouTuber Korty receives criticism

Korty EO, a well-known Nigerian YouTuber, has been criticized on social media for criticizing Davido and his group for denying her permission to post an interview.

Informing her fans that she would be releasing the much awaited interview with Davido shortly, Korty posted a preview of it on X on October 26, 2024.

She tweeted, “Randomly decided to rework my video with @davido i’ll drop it tomorrow by 1pm.”
But even after she re-edited the video, the singer’s management still wouldn’t let her distribute it, and she was upset about it the next day.

“They told I should re-edit this video, but they also said I can’t post it for reasons I don’t fully understand. I don’t fear anyone, but I’m smart enough to avoid conflicts for which I’m unprepared.”

Many X musicians took offense at her comments, notably Davido’s fans, who quickly retrieved an earlier post in which she expressed her hope to interview the singer in the future.

“You putting it out like they begged you…you literally asked them to be on your show,” an X user told her.

“Oh, they reached out to me,” Korty retorted with a clap.

You can’t relate because, like the dumb fool you are, all you’ve ever done in your pathetic existence is tweet and beg.”

Korty emphasized in another post that if artists would finally advise her not to release the interview, they should not perform on her show.

“I’ve filmed a lot of artists who eventually tell me not to post the video,” she added. Please don’t come on my show if you don’t want people to see you for who you really are. Don’t waste my time any more.

“It’s beautiful that the greats recognize me, but my approach can be too intense for some of them, and thats ok, we will charge it to the game, thank the lord & keep working” she said.

She wrote, “I no rant again, love u all for supporting me even on the days I’m going crazy,” in response to the criticism she got.
