Contentious Nigerian social media star Bobrisky claims that after two failed efforts by law authorities, he has finally fled the country.
Just a few days after going famous on November 1, 2024, when he was hauled off a plane bound for London, on November 11, 2024, he posted a picture of himself on a jet en route to a new location on his Instagram story, captioning it, “See you soon, Nigeria.”
Instagram users reacted angrily to his post, criticizing him for making his movements public.
According to one individual, Bobrisky’s mouth is the source of 90% of his issues! One person replied, “Just shut up, Bobrisky. Internet obsession is a real disease.” Another commented, “A man can’t be discreet or low-key to save her life.” You are your own village people, Chai.
“Hmm, it’s really hard for him to not update the world about his moves,” commented another Instagram user.
“The thing that bothers me about Bobrisky is that he shares everything on social media. Keep quiet, especially when a lot of your adversaries are observing you. Someone else wrote.
Isaac Fayose, a fellow traveler and the brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, verified the occurrence prior to Bobrisky’s arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He shared pictures of himself with Bobrisky prior to his departure.
Concerned about the timing of the arrest, Fayose openly criticized the Nigerian police’s handling of the incident.
Remember that Bobrisky was also detained at the Seme border the week prior, just as he was about to leave Nigeria’s shores for the Benin Republic. Images of him in the back of a cop car following his arrest went viral on social media.
