Hollywood star Denzel Washington has disclosed that, prior to his retirement, he will appear in the third installment of Marvel’s “Black Panther.”
In an interview on the “Today Show Australia,” the seasoned actor, who portrays a pivotal role in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2, recently revealed this information.
“I only want to collaborate with the finest. I have no idea how many more movies I will make. “Probably not many,” he remarked.
Denzel disclosed the following roles he has lined up prior to a potential retirement:
“I started playing Othello when I was 22, and now I’m at 70.” I’m playing Hannibal after that.
Since then, Steve McQueen and I have been discussing a movie. I have a role in the upcoming Black Panther that Ryan Coogle is writing for me. I’m going to perform Othello next, followed by King Lear. I’m going to retire after that,” he continued.
The late actor Chadwick Boseman starred in the 2018 American superhero movie Black Panther, which was based on Marvel Comics. Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, and Winston Duke are among the other cast members. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the sequel, was released in 2022 following Boseman’s passing.
