Disrespect To Women,’ – Actress Dayo Amusa Reacts As Bobrisky Wins ‘Best Dressed Female’ Award At Lagos Event

Dayo Amusa, a renowned Nollywood actress, has shared her perspective on the recent movie premiere where controversial crossdresser, Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky,

was awarded the title of ‘best-dressed woman’.

Bobrisky, a born male, has repeatedly claimed to have removed his male s3x organs and replaced them with the female genitals.

At the event, which took place in Lagos over the weekend, Bobrisky was not only recognized but also received a substantial cash prize of N1 million.

The development, however, has generated a barrage of reactions on and off social media. In response, Amusa posted a video message on her Instagram account.

She conveyed her belief that this decision was a form of mockery towards the women who were present at the event.

She said, “I was at a colleague of mine premiere yesterday, they said the best dressers are to be picked; one female and one male best dresser. Don’t get me wrong, the winner could be anyone

but not a crossdresser. I mean, what’s wrong with us? I don’t understand it.

“I cannot imagine the judges disrespecting every woman that was there. You had to pick a winner, a female best dressed and a male best dressed, and you watered the efforts of all the women

at the event by giving the best-dressed female to a crossdresser. I don’t understand what is wrong with us.

“If you feel you want to honor crossdressers, you should have created their category instead of disrespecting women by giving a crossdresser the best dressed female award.”

Bobrisky recently characterized his transformation into a woman as ‘effortless’.

Bobrisky, in a post on his Instagram account, conveyed his joy regarding the transition, mentioning that he encountered no health complications throughout the surgical process.

Expressing gratitude towards his medical team both in Nigeria and overseas, Bobrisky acknowledged their support in facilitating his journey towards femininity.
