A Nigerian artist, Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, professionally known as Odumodublvck has disclosed that music has not significantly benefited him.
Odumodublvck shared this insight while discussing his connection to his art.
In a provocative interview, Odumodublvck characterized music as a dependable companion, yet he admitted that he does not have a passion for it.
In a video on social media, the artist elaborated that music merely reflects the effort he invests in his craft.
“I don’t love music. But music and I are friends. I like you (music) and one thing I know about is that you are a stand-up guy. When you say you are going to do this you are going to do it because You meet me at the point of my contact.
“Whatever works you put in there is what music go give you, music no dey cheat person. But to say I now love music, NO NO NO NO. Because music on its own has not gone out of its way to do anything for me.
“It was the work that I put in that made it reciprocate, and I don’t have any problems with that. So music should not have any problem with me telling her that I don’t love her,” the musician said.
