Nigeria’s Para Powerlifting champions, who have once again placed their country on the international map, were honored by the Bet9ja Foundation on a day filled with joy, emotion, and pride. With great dedication to its goal of supporting sports development, the Foundation honored these exceptional athletes for their outstanding accomplishments.
The touching ceremony took place at midday at the Insight Redefini Campus, with a star-studded roster of Paralympic athletes in attendance, including Thomas Kure, Bose Omotayo, Coach Ijeoma Iherobiem, Gold Medalist Folashade Oluwafomiayo, and Nigeria’s first-ever female gold medallist.

The Para Powerlifting team was given three million naira by the Bet9ja Foundation as a reward for their triumph and continuous achievement.
