Controversial artist Portable has shared her thoughts on social media following the finale of Big Brother Naija season 9 on October 9, 2024, with Kellyrae emerging victorious.
Following the conclusion, Portable said on his Instagram story that the highly regarded reality program lacked the same level of entertainment as the earlier seasons and that, for ₦100 million, he could improve the show’s quality.
“Big Brother aint no sweeter than he was before,” he wrote. Once they give me ₦100M, I’ll utilize cruise control to eliminate all of those folks. Doctor Zeh.
The artist also shared a blogger’s article that said, “So, today is the last day of the BIG BROTHER program, hehe. And who emerged victorious? Have you seen the program?
Fans and followers had a passionate conversation after reading Portable’s remarks. “But where’s the lie?” was one user’s suggestion. Next year, I hope they do a celebrity big brother. Please let Portable, Borissky, and Akpi live together. Biggie, thank you so much.”
Another person added, “Facts and I know Big Brother will do better in their audition next season. They may lose the worth they currently possess if anything similar occurs in the upcoming season. Although it may not be pleasant to admit it, over 50% of Nigerians are unaware of the show’s winner. I learned about it only tonight.”
Additionally, the singer blogged again.
Another poster echoed Portable’s sentiments, saying, “Big brother should bring people like Bobrisky, Papaya Ex, Diana Eneje, Dj Chicken, Akpi, etc.. it will be m@d asf.”
Not all Instagram users, though, shared the singer’s sentiments. One user wrote, “It’s understandable when a country that likes violence will see the season as not interesting; it’s arguably the least amount of toxicity and maybe mature people that know how to do conflict resolution in peace.”
