On June 12, 2024, Biodun Stephen’s upcoming drama film Muri & Ko, starring Bisola Aiyeola, will make its theatrical debut.

A teaser for Nollywood director Biodun Stephen’s upcoming drama, Muri & Ko, has been released. The film is scheduled to open in theaters on June 12, 2024. Stephen announced the news on Friday, May 10, 2024, via Instagram.

In the preview, KieKie’s character Ilori blushes while Kunle Remi‘s character Muri tries to win her over with a song. The trailer for Muri & Ko gives viewers a glimpse into this world of comedy and drama, even if most of the plot is yet unknown.

“Muri Picker has come! It was quite the adventure to walk in Muri’s shoes! Get comfortable for #Muri&KoMovie. Come on, let’s go to the movies on June 12! Stephen posted on Instagram, “Egirrit.”

Stephen, in association with Mo’ Fakorede, Inkblot Productions, and FilmOne Studios, is the director and producer of the movie.

This is Stephen and Inkblot Productions’ second joint venture. The romantic family drama Big Love, starring Bimbo Ademoye and Timini Egbuson, was their first joint venture and was listed among the top 30 movies on Prime Video in 2023.

Big Love is the narrative of Adil, portrayed by Egbuson, a young guy with lofty aspirations, and Adina, portrayed by Ademoye, a self-reliant woman who is equally intent on getting by.

The story of Adil, played by Egbuson, a young guy driven by passion, and Adina, represented by Ademoye, an independent woman likewise very focused on making ends meet at a graduate training camp, is told in Big Love. These two quickly begin to develop a blossoming romance, which is later jeopardized by a secret and Adina’s anxieties.

Bisola Aiyeola, Bucci Franklin, Gloria Anozie-Young, Charles Okocha, and Femi Jacobs are among the other actors in Muri & Ko. This follows Stephen’s announcement that Momiwa, her most recent film, is accessible on Prime Video.
