Stephanie Okereke Linus has stated that she will be on the Zuma film festival jury. 

Stephanie Okereke Linus, an accomplished actress and filmmaker, has been included on the roster of eminent industry professionals who will serve on the Zuma International Film Festival jury.
Journalists have received briefings from the Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) regarding the upcoming Zuma International Film Festival (ZUFF), which is set to take place in Abuja from December 1 to 5.

Along with Stephanie Linus’s attendance, the NFC revealed that 3,120 submissions from various countries were received for the event, including Nigeria, Iran, India, the United States (U.S.A.), Spain, and France.

The festival’s 14th edition has “Digital Renaissance: Embracing the Future” as its theme. “There is more to the Zuma International Film Festival than just an event. This movement supports Nigeria’s creative and cultural economy. The festival empowers young people, generates employment opportunities, and encourages cross-border cooperation, according to Dr. Ali Nuhu, Managing Director/Chief Executive of the NFC.

“This year, we highlight the transformative power of digital technology in filmmaking with over 3,120 film submissions from countries, including Nigeria, Iran, India, the U.S.A., Spain, and France,” he stated.

Over her career, Stephanie Linus has been recognized with numerous accolades and nominations, including the 2003 Reel Award for Best Actress, the 2006 Afro Hollywood Award for Best Actress, and many more. Throughout her career, Stephanie Linus has been recognized as a creative force and a respected film expert. She has been nominated for and won several awards, including the 2006 Afro Hollywood Award for Best Actress, the 2003 Reel Award for Best Actress, and three nominations for the Africa Movie Academy Awards’ Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2005, 2009, and 2010.
She was awarded the distinction of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic, MFR, in 2011.
