The Federal Government has officially designated Wednesday, December 25th, Thursday, December 26th, 2024, and Wednesday, January 1st, 2025, as Public Holidays in observance of Christmas, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day, respectively.
In a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, conveyed that the declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on behalf of the Federal Government.
Dr. Ajani shared that the minister extended heartfelt greetings to all Nigerians, encouraging them to take this festive season as an opportunity to reflect on the core values of love, peace, and unity that it embodies.
