According to Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, a former governor of Delta, President Bola Tinubu is giving Nigeria stability and hope.
This was said by Okowa on Monday in Abuja during a national conference with the subject “Renew Hope Agenda through Continuity,” which was hosted by the Integrity Group of Nigeria.
Okowa emphasised that Tinubu must stay in government in order for the people to gain from his initiatives, as stated by Pascal Adigwe, his former Special Adviser on National Assembly and Inter-Governmental Relations.
In contrast to certain previous leaders, he characterised Tinubu as a “action president” who has taken accountability.
Even though Tinubu’s choices have been difficult or harsh, they are having a good effect.
“Stability is being brought by Tinubu.” He’s giving people hope again. The bull is being led by him. He’s not referring to issues in the past or how the past was governed.
He assured Nigeria that he would step forward and assume accountability. That is what he has done,” Okowa said.
The former governor said that Tinubu has shown a willingness to taking responsibility for the nation and that he has his full support for his 2027 reelection campaign.
“We have come to improve what you have established, not to bring liabilities.
“We are bringing our expertise and familiarity with the terrain with us. We’re coming with love. To improve the situation, we are bringing resources,” he declared.
Okowa said Tinubu deserved to be re-elected and asked support organisations to start laying the foundation for his reelection.
Tinubu came to power prepared and working for the country’s progress, according to Dr. Oke Idawene, the IGN Convener and National Chairman.
“This afternoon’s message is simply to say that we will never again allow those who are robbing Nigeria of its prosperity to lead us,” he stated.
Idawene went on to say that security was getting better and that students could now get loans.
He claimed that because of Tinubu’s outstanding performance, the progressive governors were already setting the stage for his win in 2027.
Sen. Binta Garba also spoke, stating that before Tinubu took over, the nation was struggling, but he was able to turn things around.
Garba also said that “continuity will make Nigeria a better country” and that he hoped the renewed hope project will continue in 2027.
Pauline Tallen, the former minister of women’s affairs, also urged Nigerians to pray for Tinubu and provide him with the assistance he needs to improve the nation.
Tallen cited the recent by-election triumphs of the All Progressives Congress and the sporting achievements of Nigerian females as evidence that the indicators were already positive.
Prof. Nora Daduut, the Federal University of Technology, Akure’s pro-chancellor and chairman of the governing council, praised the group for the national summit.
The group members, particularly the ladies, were entrusted by the day’s mother, Daduut, to spread the word about the renewed hope project.
