Jonathan’s 2027 Comeback: A Call from an Ex-Presidential Aspirant

$49 Billion Didnt Go Missing Under My Watch - Ex-President Jonathan Speaks

Mathias Tsado, a former Action Democratic Party presidential candidate, has asked former President Goodluck Jonathan‘s close friends and family to pressure him to run for president in 2027.

The call was made by Tsado, the Liberation Movement’s 2019 presidential candidate, in an appearance on Tuesday’s Sunrise Daily on Channels Television.

He maintained that the only way to address Nigeria’s growing security and economic issues was for Jonathan to return to office.

“In 2027, we need him back.” This is about saving Nigeria, not politics. He has the vision, the attitude, and the experience to save our nation from impending disaster,” Tsado stated.

He said that Jonathan’s administration left behind reforms and strong democratic principles that might be resurrected to bring stability back. He pointed out that the former president is still seen as a unifying figure by many Nigerians.

Tsado emphasized that the country was at a crucial juncture and urged Jonathan’s political supporters to step up their efforts to convince him.

People in his immediate vicinity ought to talk to him in unison. More than ever, Nigeria needs him. He continued, “His leadership style is what can defuse tensions and refocus the economy.”

Political groups are speculating about possible candidates for the 2027 presidential election at the time of the call. Despite Jonathan’s lack of interest in running, Tsado maintained that the former leader was still the greatest option for the country’s revival.
