On Wednesday, the African Democratic Congress’s ADC leadership under David Mark was formally acknowledged by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
This came after a period of internal party reorganization that resulted in the appointment of new national officers with the goal of realigning the ADC in advance of upcoming elections.
In addition to Mark, other key figures who have been formally recognized by INEC are Professor Oserheimen Aigberaodion Osunbor as National Legal Advisor, Dr. Ibrahim Mani as National Treasurer, Akibu Dalhatu as National Financial Secretary, and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola as National Secretary.
As the party looks to increase its national influence in advance of the general elections in 2027, the ADC leadership is anticipated to launch a nationwide reconciliation and mobilization campaign with this official endorsement.
