The biggest airline in Nigeria, Air Peace, has announced that several flights on all of its operating networks will be delayed as a result of the intense rain that fell on Lagos this morning.
Osifo-Whiskey Efe, the spokesperson for Air Peace, issued a statement asking travelers to be patient while the airline works to resolve the issue.
According to the statement: “We would like to notify you that certain flights within our operating networks will experience delays as a result of the intense rainfall that occurred in Lagos this morning.
“We ask for your understanding as we try our best to handle the inconveniences and get you to your destinations safely, even if weather is out of our control and safety is still our top priority.
“Safety is a fundamental commitment at Air Peace, not merely a priority. We are still committed to providing our passengers and crew with the utmost safety standards.
