“Love & Seclusion,” starring Tope Olowoniyan and Efa Iwara, will make its New York premiere
This coming Friday, February 23, 2024, in New York, the film will have its North American premiere.
The makers of the Nollywood film Love & Seclusion, Conceptified Media, and CANO Production announced in a press release shared with Pulse Nigeria that the film would have its US premiere on Friday, February 23, 2024, in New York.
This comes after the movie took home the 2023 Feature Fiction Award from the New York City Women’s Fund. The film, which was directed by Orire Nwani, centers on the lives of Efa Iwara and Tope Olowoniyan, who perceive the coronavirus outbreak as a chance to start a family but soon discover that their objectives are not the same.
Josh Olaoluwa is the producer and Clementina Ojie is the writer of The Love & Seclusion. The film’s cast and creative team will participate in a Q&A session after the New York premiere, which marks its North American premiere, at New York University.
Love & Seclusion also stars Inem King, Olanrewaju Ayanwale, Jaybo Charles, and Odiah Emmanuel in addition to Efa Iwara and Tope Olowoniyan.
Although a worldwide release date for Love & Seclusion has not yet been determined, the statement from the producers indicates that they want to make an announcement later in the year.
“After they compete in the festival circuit, the production crew is quite assured of a wider release in 2024,” stated the statement.
Conceptified Media recently had success at the Red Sea Souk market with their project ‘Fantastic Tale,’ in addition to this spectacular debut. The statement said, “These accomplishments demonstrate the company’s commitment to provide outstanding and fascinating storytelling even more.
