This is the way Chioma Okoli created the role of Wosilat on “Skinny Girl On Transition”
She has been in the post for the past seven years.
Chioma Okoli discusses how she was cast as Wosilat Courage. In the well-liked Ndani TV YouTube series Skinny Girl In Transit (SGIT), Chioma Okoli, who portrays Wosilat, has revealed information about how she was cast for the part.
The actress discussed the risky move she made to get the SGIT acting position that has been open for so long in a chat with Chude. To quote her: “I sent a random text to a TV station. Actually, through Instagram… I told them over text that I was a theater student.
They said to just show up for the screening. I went to VI for the audition, and although it was only meant to be a day scene, I think I did a great job. They then say, “It’s been going on for seven years, and we would like to sign an appropriate arrangement with you.”
When questioned about what inspired her to convey a message to the TV station in question—even though they hadn’t released a notice—Okoli stated that her name, fortitude, was the source of the fortitude displayed.
Despite being best known for her work on SGIT, Okoli has also appeared in the drama short Mighty (2022), the romantic drama Unintentional (2021) on Red TV, and the Africa Magic Series My Fellow Residents.
fortunately, viewers may still enjoy her incredible comic delivery on Fridays when SGIT releases fresh clips for season seven on Ndani TV’s YouTube site.
