‘All’s Fair In Love’ producer Deyemi Okanlawon on awaiting a child

The Nigerian actor Deyemi Okanlawon has opened up about how the filming of his movie All’s Fair in Love was impacted by his pregnant wife’s absence.
In a special conversation with Pulse Nigeria, he discussed the challenges her absence had on the making process and added, “My wife has not been by my side throughout this process.” That may have been the cause of this being the hardest thing I have ever had to go through, looking back.

On February 15, 2024, Okanlawon and his spouse revealed the news of their son’s birth, one day following the release of his debut motion picture as a producer.
Okanlawon also credited his numerous connections within the industry for the film’s financial success. “I recall telling Mo Abudu about my idea, and she gave me her blessings and offered me the entire Ebony Life building to shoot for free,” he recalled. She allowed my lead actor, who is from South Africa, to lodge in one of her hotels for the duration at no further expense to me.”
The plot of All’s Fair in Love revolves around two close companions and entrepreneurs who fall deeply in love with the same woman. In the movie All’s Fair In Love, a pair of buddies and business associates fall deeply in love with the same woman, Buhle Samuels, and compete with one other to get close to her.
The actors in the cast are Adedimeji Lateef, Beauty Tukura, Venita Akpofure, Gbubemi Ejeye, Kenzy Udonsen, Oprah Okereke, Timilehin Ojeola, Timini Egbuson, Juliet Ibrahim, and Adedimeji Lateef.
By February 18, 2024, the film has made ₦27 million in revenue.
