Out of the most expected movie releases of 2024, “Japa!” has been scheduled to debut on March 8, 2024, on Amazon Prime Video, one of the biggest streaming sites.

1POD Pictures and Inkblot Productions are co-producing the movie. Japa! offers an abundance of comics mixed with a dash of high drama, unwavering ambition, and the pursuit of a better life.

The film, which was shot in the energetic city of Lagos, Nigeria, features outstanding narrative and cinematography and will only be available on Amazon Prime in more than 240 countries.

The film, which was directed by Isioma Osaje and written by Tamara Aihie, Chinaza Onuzo, and others, has engrossing sequences mixed with thrilling, fundamentally strong storytelling with moments of suspense.

Some of the most talented and adaptable actors in Nigeria were brought in to bring the script to life for “Japa.” The cast includes Mofe Duncan, Layi Wasabi, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Jidekene Achufusi, The Igbo Wolf, and numerous others.

Co-founder of Inkblot Chinaza Onuzo said that it was a rewarding experience to bring true African stories to life through the development and filming of the project, which culminated in its worldwide premiere on Prime Video.
