The Honourable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has been impeached by his colleagues.
Obasa was impeached on Monday, January 13, over alleged gross misconduct and abuse of office.
The scenario was announced by TVC via its official X.
The media reported that the lawmaker representing Apapa Constituency I in the Lagos House of Assembly, Hon. Moji Ojora, has become the new speaker following Obasa’s impeachment.
