Shina Peters said that years before he agreed to be ordained, the church’s leadership received a divinely inspired order.
According to the renowned Afro-Juju artist Sir Shina Peters, he was anointed as a bishop on Friday in compliance with God’s will.
Cherubim and Seraphim Church of God, located in the Iju neighborhood of Lagos State, is where Shina Peters was anointed as a bishop in 2021, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
According to the singer, who was interviewed in Lagos by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the church’s leadership got heavenly guidance on his ordination.
He claimed that years before he agreed to be ordained, the church’s leadership received the divinely given directive.
He stated: “The Almighty God declared that I need to be appointed as the first bishop of the Church of God in Cherubim and Seraphim. He told the church’s leaders.
God explained this by saying that I am the only performer who consistently incorporates hymns into my songs and shows, and as a result, I have gained a lot of followers for Christ.
As you are aware, the hymns are typically the source of my music.
“And for a long time, I tried to avoid the ordination until God ultimately had me arrested.”
When Peters talked about his career, he was pleased with his development and thanked God for leading him throughout the years.
“I feel satisfied and fulfilled. Right now, the only thing I ever ask my creator for is to continue to enlighten me in His word and give me the grace to draw nearer to Him.
“There is nothing more I could possibly want for than to keep thanking God for my accomplishments thus far, which have come about through His grace.
When I reminisce about the people with whom I began my life journey and who are no longer with me, I am eternally thankful to my creator.
“All I can say is that my fans should be prepared for something out of the ordinary very soon,” he stated.
