Residents of Osun who have not yet picked up their Permanent Voter Cards have been urged by the Independent National Electoral Commission to take advantage of the present Continuous Voter Registration period to do so.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Musa Olurode, the INEC spokesperson in Osun, made the call and mentioned that 360,794 PVCs were languishing at the commission’s headquarters.
“INEC Osun is using this platform to notify the public that those who have not yet picked up their PVCs have another chance to do so as part of the current voter registration drive.
In Osun, over 360,794 PVCs remain uncollected. Under the direction of Dr. Mutiu Agboke, INEC is asking cardholders to take advantage of this chance to pick up their cards during the current CVR.
“From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day, the PVCs will be available for pickup at the 30 INEC local government offices and the Area office at Modakeke,” he stated.
He cautioned against making more than one registration and encouraged individuals who had never done so to do so.
