Kwara Finalizes July 26 for JSS Placement Exam

The Common Entrance (Placement) Examination for junior secondary schools in all 16 local government areas of the state will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, according to the Kwara State Government.

This was revealed on Wednesday at the Ministry’s offices in the state capital of Ilorin by Dr. Lawal Olohungbebe, the state commissioner for education and human capital development.

“Necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination,” the commissioner said in a statement provided on Thursday by Peter Amogbonjaye, Press Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development.

Olohungbebe stated that the test will start at 8 a.m. at specific locations throughout the state.

He asked students, parents, and school officials to follow the exam instructions to the letter.

The commissioner expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for fully sponsoring the test and issued a warning that any head teacher or principal caught collecting unlawful payments from students will be subject to the full force of the law.
