Man City's Pep Guardiola 'Divorces' Wife

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his spouse, Cristina Serra, have ended their relationship after three decades together.

A report from SPORT on Monday indicated that the divorce is characterized as “entirely cordial, stable, and amicable.”

The report suggested that Guardiola and Serra grew apart after spending the last five years working in different countries.

The couple first met in 1994 and subsequently married in 2014 near Barcelona.

They share three children: Maria, aged 24, Marius, aged 22, and Valentina, aged 17.

It has been reported that Serra has been residing full-time in Barcelona with their daughter Valentina, while Guardiola remains in Manchester.

Serra, a Brazilian journalist, was seen with Guardiola on various occasions last year.

According to the report, the decision to separate was made in December, with only close friends and family initially informed of the situation.

Relatives and friends have been advised to refrain from disclosing further details regarding the divorce.

Serra relocated to Manchester in 2019 to join her family’s fashion business, Serra Claret.

In November, Guardiola signed a new two-year contract with the Premier League champions, extending his tenure until 2027, despite speculation that he might depart the club at the conclusion of his previous agreement.
