Applications for the Nigerian Air Force‘s Airmen/Airwomen Basic Military Training Course 46/2025 are now being accepted, the Air Force stated Monday.
The Force announced that online enrolment will be free from October 14 to November 25, 2025, in an ad on its X account.
The recruitment portal at http://nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng is where interested individuals are encouraged to apply.
NAF instructed candidates to print the acknowledgement, parent and guardian consent, and local government area attestation forms after completing the application forms.
A substantive local government chairman or secretary, a police officer with the rank of chief superintendent of police or higher, a military officer from the applicant’s state who is not below the rank of wing commander in the Nigerian Air Force or an equivalent position in the Nigerian Army or Nigerian Navy, and magistrates from the applicant’s home state must all sign the forms as required.
It went on to say that the passport photo and a photocopy of the signee’s driver’s license, national ID card, or overseas passport must be included with the Local Government Area Attestation Form.
Eligibility
Candidates must be citizens of Nigeria, be at least 1.66 meters tall (for men) and 1.63 meters tall (for women), be in good physical and mental health, and fulfil the employment and medical requirements of the Nigerian Air Force.
In addition to having a minimum of five credits—including mathematics and English language—from no more than two sittings of the WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or NBAIS, candidates applying for non-tradesmen or women must be between the ages of 18 and 22 at the time of application. Additionally, they must have the testimonials of their secondary schools.

In addition to their trade test certificate and a current driving licence, applicants for jobs requiring a trade test, such as driving, must have at least five credits, including English and mathematics, in no more than two sittings of the WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB or NBAIS.
In addition to the five SSCE credits, applicants who are athletes must provide documentation of their professional background, such as medals and certificates.
According to NAF, candidates need to be clear of any prior criminal convictions from a court of law.
It further stated that the successful candidates would take the zonal general aptitude test on a date that will be announced on its recruiting webpage.
