The 5ive Tour, which features shows in Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos, will return to Nigeria, according to Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido.
The multiple award-winning singer stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday that the Nigerian leg of the tour will begin on October 26 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, and proceed to Yola, Adamawa, on October 29 and Enugu on November 1. The tour will conclude with two performances on November 9 in Ibadan and December 25 in Lagos.
Following his successful North American tour, Davido expressed his excitement about playing at home and stated he was looking forward to the Nigerian edition.
“I’m fortunate to be able to perform all over the world, and Nigeria always follows me. I’m bringing it home this time, though.
“It’s only fitting that we return the energy to its origins after an incredible North American tour.
“Are you ready for my 5ive Tour of Nigeria? For the culture, this one. This is a personal matter. The artist added, “This one’s for us.”
Davido’s sold-out performances across the US and Canada earlier this year, featuring popular songs from his Grammy-nominated album Timeless, are followed by the 5ive Tour.
