The Francophone Africa Business Summit 2024 encourages entrepreneurship and cooperation

Participants in the conference held enlightening conversations with the goal of removing obstacles and improving cooperation between African countries.
The Francophone Africa Business Summit 2024 concluded on February 29, 2024, after two days of intense programming in Lagos, Nigeria.
The summit, which was organized by Epena Law, acted as a spark for investment and cooperation throughout the African continent.

The meeting, with the theme “Investing in Francophone Africa – Playbook and Opportunities,” brought together CEOs, investors, and powerful leaders from major economies like Senegal, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, and Cameroon. In the vibrant city of Lagos, delegates had enlightening conversations about removing obstacles and improving cooperation between African countries.

During his keynote speech, former president Olusegun Obasanjo emphasized the value of Africans working together to promote social growth and financial stability. We must work together to realize the enormous potential of our continent as we approach the dawn of a new chapter in African development. We can steer clear of disaster and toward fair progress and prosperity for everybody by working together and forming smart alliances, he continued. Given that a sizable fraction of African countries are Francophone, the gathering emphasized the necessity of coordinated action to realize the region’s enormous potential.

A private dinner and cocktail reception were held alongside to the summit’s core discussions, giving delegates more opportunities to network and build partnerships.

A  number of panel talks representing important industries were included in the summit, including FMCG, Fintech, Real Estate, Agriculture, and Financial Services. Prominent speakers that highlighted investment potential and problems in Francophone Africa included Ada Osakwe, Wilfrid Korsaga, Igbuan Okaisabor, Hon. Biodun Ogunleye, Ernest Ezenna, Mayowa Kuyoro, and Adia Sowho. They all provided insightful thoughts and opinions.
