When it came to his feelings after selling out the Wembley Arena in London for his Tequila Ever After event yesterday, Sunday, March 3, 2024, Adekunle Gold is not holding back.
The “Orente” singer sobs in a new video that is making the rounds on X (previously Twitter) after sold out the 12,500-seat venue, which is the ninth-largest interior stadium in the UK and London’s as the second-big after The O2 Arena.
Tequila Ever Following that, the show, was originally scheduled for Sunday, November 5, 2023; however, it was moved to Sunday, March 3, 2024.
Following the extension, Adekunle Gold’s camp released a statement citing “unexpected difficulties” as the reason.
“Due to unanticipated events, the Adekunle Gold show at OVO Arena Wembley London on Sunday 5th November 2023 had to be postponed to Sunday 3rd March 2024,” the announcement read.
Additionally, the announcement stated that reservations already purchased will still be valid on the revised date.
“Your reservations are still good for the new date; if you can’t make the new one, get in touch with us so we can help you further. We thank you for your continuing business and apologize for any inconvenience,” it stated.
